                                                                                                                                          This Butcher Block Board is a sturdy 7.8 pounds and at 16.5”x11.25” “and 1.5” thick, it is designed to handle your larger cuts of meat, with all the traditional advantages of end grain cutting boards such as long-term durability and relative ease of impact on knife edges.

• Although this board is designed with a more rustic or patio / Grill setting (do not leave it outside though!), it will also feel right at home on your kitchen counter. It is maple with Sapele end grain accents (the Sapele end grain blocks provide a deep dark red contrast to the maple end grain blocks) and framed with Sapele for additional stability and a nice framed finished look.  

• Custom engraving is available and can be applied in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.

• The board is easily maintained with periodic applications of food safe/grade mineral oil, since it is an end grain it will be especially thirsty but rebounds well to its original state.

• The board is shipped with rubber/silicon feet to provide stability, air flow for drying and separation from the countertop. Convenient handles are notched into the bottom of each side of the board to make it easier to lift and transport.
